Saranya Chilukuri

Saranya has been learning Kuchipudi for the last ten years under the watchful eyes of her Guru, Smt. Raji Rayaprolu. She has performed at various cultural events, earning admiration for her grace and dedication. For Saranya, Kuchipudi is a way to express her devotion to God, and she believes that understanding and feeling the meaning of a song is essential to delivering a heartfelt performance.

Saranya is a rising junior at McNeil High School and is passionate about pursuing a career in STEM. Alongside dance, she has been a member of her school's choir ensembles for the past five years, receiving several accolades and distinctions at choir competitions. Music has been a wonderful outlet for her to destress, grow creatively, and enjoy time with her friends.

In her free time, Saranya enjoys exploring different genres of music and engaging in lively discussions with her family on topics like history, fiction, space, psychology, and philosophy. She especially treasures spending time with her brother when he is home and loves watching movies with her fam ̈ These moments of fun balance her busy aca and artistic pursuits beautifully.
